Breaker/Power Lock Out Policy
RE: CSA Standard Z462 and NFPA 70E

It is Kels Electric Ltd. safety policy that any and all breakers shall be turned on or off by Kels Electric qualified personnel. It is Kels Electric employee's responsibility to turn breakers off and either lock off or lock out the breaker or panel or otherwise isolate circuits being shut down. ABSOLUTELY no one else on the job site is to be allowed to enter the panel and turn off or on ANY circuits without authorization from a Kels Electric supervisor. This is for the safety of Kels Electric employees and anyone else on the job site. Violation of this policy will not be tolerated.
